| How to Submit an Item for Appraisal | Please provide clear and good quality images, displaying all sides of the item (such as the
underside of a figure, vase, or plate (even if there are no marks); or the back of a painting etc);
and please detail clearly any makers marks, stamps, signatures, or condition issues.
NB: To capture clear images of detail, hold the camera approx 6"-18" inches away from the subject
and use a medium-quality setting (1200-1600 pixels) or macro-setting and test until clear.
Try to avoid any 'camera shake' when you take a photo, as this will blur the image.
Please include accurate dimensions and all information you know about the item, such as any
provenance, history, or other background information which might be helpful to the appraiser. |
